Buying a teacup poodle puppy is not something to be taken lightly! While a well bred teacup poodle IS NOT the weak, sickly runt some breeders of larger poodles may try to convince you there are - teacup poodles are very tiny. For this reason they ARE NOT recommended as gifts for very young children. My teacup poodles are strong hardy poodles ..... for their size! Young children should have a bit bigger pet.
A Teacup Poodle is 4 pounds and under full grown with their height being 8 inches and under. The height is measured from the top of the shoulder to the floor...Not from the top of their head to the floor.
These are very tiny dogs !
Please make sure this tiny size is right for you and your family.
I will not knowingly place a Teacup Poodle in a family with young children. So, if you lie to me about the ages of your children and something happens to your puppy...Shame on you for putting your puppy in danger.
Please remember... the word or term "Teacup" is only to describe the tiny size of these dogs and puppies.
The American Kennel Club DOES NOT recognize the term "Teacup" when registering the dog. The "Teacup" size Poodles will be registered as Toy Poodles.
There are only three sizes recognized by the AKC.
Standard , Miniature and Toy.
Your Teacup Poodle will arrive fully vaccinated . All puppies will be micro-chipped before leaving me. The chip will be registered to me. The number on the chip will be recorded with your name,address and phone number in my file.
All puppies will stay with me until I feel they are ready to leave my home. No, you will not be able to have a 6-8 week old puppy...Don't ask. I never let a puppy leave me until 12-16 weeks of age. Some stay longer. Cantee Teacup Poodles will be priced 1800.00 - 2500.00.
